The Chosen then & now

 It's about time that we Jews admit and have the Peoples of the World recognize that we were and are the “Chosen People”.
We were the first to embrace a God, whom none of the World Peoples worshiped, and He, in turn, embraced us, freed us from slavery promised us the territory on the East and West sides of the Jordan as the Birth-Right of our Nation and, apparently, assumed we would spread his Message of Love, Compassion & Justice to the World.
We were required to proclaim his Uniqueness (Monotheism) and
heed his Moral Principles (The Decalogue).
We erred in believing that the world would observe, embrace and
emulate our society's culture of high ethical, positive and constructive
principles. We also erred in not sending out emissaries and our life
enhancing cultural message to the world. This “Compiler” believes that
this momentous failure of shameful excessive pride, resulting in
the purposeful exclusion of others based on wrongful interpretation
of God's will, led to a temporary Godly retreat from his all encompassing
love and protection of his Chosen People.
As a result, other cultures embraced the Perfect Concepts of
Monotheism and the Decalogue and proclaimed themselves the
true heirs and interpreters of God's wishes for mankind.
Regretfully, their misinterpretation and misguided desire to improve on those “Perfect Concepts”, Monotheism & the Decalogue, resulted in
an obvious detraction therefrom. Neither the New Testament nor the Koran are an improvement on the social enhancements proclaimed by the treasure of Jewish Scriptures - the 5 Books Of Moses and the Talmud/Mishna.
Also, regretfully, the Christians and Muslims who were the
true benefactors of the evolving Jewish Culture, through the millennium,
went out of their way to denigrate, vilify and decimate the Originators
of the principles they, boldly, proclaimed as theirs. They also proceeded
to undermine the principles of Love, Compassion & Justice by emphasizing and exalting their Messengers, Christ & Muhammad, rather than their exceptional Life Enhancing Message of Love, Compassion & Justice.
Resulting from their desire, to be seen as the Originators of the Godly Message to Mankind, the Christians and Muslims, through the generations, proceeded to inflict murderous Crusades, pogroms, expulsions, blood libels, inquisitions and topping them all a Nazi Holocaust to better show their hatred for the Jews act of “Deicide” and their love for God.
Islam in the 6th century, proclaimed itself as superseding both Judaism and Christianity and proceeded to annihilate the Jews, in their midst, who rejected conversion to Islam.
The Muslim Fundamentalists, of today, are in world-wide conflict
with both Judaism and Christianity. The vociferous Despotic & Autocratic World Muslim Leaders and their Fundamentalist cohorts are the major financial supporters of International Terrorism.
Their objective of combating encroaching Democracy in the World
and their determination, presently, to spread Sharia Law throughout the Middle East and, eventually, worldwide has drastically undermined any real hope for restoration of a World of international tranquility that we all aspire to.
Those Fundamentalist Leaders who are supportive of Mid East
Terrorism are more intent on consolidating their Despotic regimes than
encouraging the establishment of another Palestinian Democratic Nation.
It took the Jews 2000 years of yearning for a return to Zion/Jerusalem. If the Palestinians fail to cater to their own vested interests rather than aiding the Despots Agenda of combating Middle East encroaching Democracy – they may very well have to go on yearning for an Independent State for many many long years.
And, now, it is also time to tell you that the Jews, limited in numbers, are truly an exceptionally talented, creative and productive people.
Their brain power has been honed fine by ongoing compulsory
education through the generations. The Children of Israel were coached
in reading holy scriptures as far back as the establishment of the Jewish Kingdom of Israel that survived for 750 years.
With the destruction, by the Romans, of the second Temple in 70 CE, all Jewish boys, in exile, were required to embrace compulsory education. In the same era, other nations had only sparsely educated groups of the religious and the aristocrats.
Jews, notwithstanding their constantly dwindling and decimated numbers, went on begetting and providing all Jewish boys with “learning.”
Jews, because of their ongoing learning process and the demands on brain power required to exist and overcome the physical adversities and the economic limitations inflicted by those in whose midst they lived, became, through connection with their exiled compatriots throughout the world, promoters of commerce and proficient in the then emerging scientific and medical fields.
While Europeans only introduced organized “schooling” in the 7th Century - the Jewish brains were hewed fine by ongoing compulsory studies and the struggles to survive the ongoing fear and hatred of the inhabitants of the countries in which they sought refuge.
With “Emancipation” in France & Germany and with later immigration to America and Canada the Jews mental prowess proved of exceptional value to all the countries who approved Jewish emancipation.

Elementary school learning was regarded as compulsory by Simeon ben Shetah as early as 75 BCE and Joshua ben Gamla in 64 CE. The education of older boys and men in a beit midrash goes back to the Second Temple period. The importance of education is stressed in the Talmud, which states that children should begin school at six. The rabbis stated that they should not be beaten with a stick or cane, that older students should help those who were younger, and that children should not be kept from their lessons by other duties. According to Judah ben Tema, “At five years the age is reached for studying the Bible, at ten for studying the Mishnah, at thirteen for fulfilling the mitzvoth, at fifteen for studying the Talmud.” (Avot 5:21). In keeping with this tradition, Jews established their own schools or hired private tutors for their children until the end of the 18th century. They deny that Jews remind them of a higher purpose of life and the need to be honourable, and do anything to escape its consequences.. It is simply too much to handle for them, too embarrassing to admit, and above all, too difficult to live by.

So the nations of the world decided once again to go out of 'their' way in order to find a stick to hit the Jews. The goal: to prove that Jews are as immoral and guilty of massacre and genocide as some of they themselves are.

All this in order to hide and justify their own failure to even protest when six million Jews were brought to the slaughterhouses of Auschwitz and Dachau; so as to wipe out the moral conscience of which the Jews remind them, and they found a stick.

Nothing could be more gratifying for them than to find the Jews in a struggle with another people (who are completely terrorized by their own leaders) against whom the Jews, against their best wishes, have to defend themselves in order to survive. With great satisfaction, the world allows and initiates the rewriting of history so as to fuel the rage of yet another people against the Jews. This in spite of the fact that the nations understand very well that peace between the parties could have come a long time ago, if only the Jews would have had a fair chance. Instead, they happily jumped on the wagon of hate so as to justify their jealousy of the Jews and their incompetence to deal with their own moral issues.

When Jews look at the bizarre play taking place in  The Hague , they can only smile as this artificial game once more proves how the world paradoxically admits the Jews' uniqueness. It is in their need to undermine the Jews that they actually raise them.

to undermine the principles of Love, Compassion & Justice by emphasizing and exalting their Messengers, Christ & Muhammad, rather than their exceptional Life Enhancing Message of Love, Compassion & Justice.
Resulting from their desire, to be seen as the Originators of the Godly Message to Mankind, the Christians and Muslims, through the generations, proceeded to inflict murderous Crusades, pogroms, expulsions, blood libels, inquisitions and topping them all a Nazi Holocaust to better show their hatred for the Jews act of “Deicide” and their love for God.
Islam in the 6th century, proclaimed itself as superseding both Judaism and Christianity and proceeded to annihilate the Jews, in their midst, who rejected conversion to Islam.
The Muslim Fundamentalists, of today, are in world-wide conflict
with both Judaism and Christianity.  The vociferous Despotic & Autocratic World Muslim Leaders and their Fundamentalist cohorts are the major financial supporters of International Terrorism.
Their objective of combating encroaching Democracy in the World
and their determination, presently, to spread Sharia Law throughout the Middle East and, eventually, worldwide has drastically undermined any real hope for restoration of a World of international tranquility that we all aspire to.

Terrorism are more intent on consolidating their Despotic regimes than
encouraging the establishment of another Palestinian Democratic Nation.
It took the Jews 2000 years of yearning for a return to Zion/Jerusalem. If the Palestinians fail to cater to their own vested interests rather than aiding the Despots Agenda of combating Middle East encroaching Democracy – they may very well have to go on yearning for an Independent State for many many long years.
And, now, it is also time to tell you that the Jews, limited in numbers, are truly an exceptionally talented, creative and productive people.
Their brain power has been honed fine by ongoing compulsory
education through the generations. The Children of Israel were coached
in reading holy scriptures as far back as the establishment of the Jewish Kingdom of Israel that survived for 750 years.
With the destruction, by the Romans, of the second Temple in 70 CE, all Jewish boys, in exile, were required to embrace compulsory  education. In the same era, other nations had only sparsely educated groups of the religious and the aristocrats.
Jews, notwithstanding their constantly dwindling and decimated numbers, went on begetting and providing all Jewish boys with “learning.”
Jews, because of their ongoing learning process and the demands on brain power required to exist and overcome the physical adversities and the economic limitations inflicted by those in whose midst they lived, became, through connection with their exiled compatriots throughout the world, promoters of commerce and proficient in the then emerging scientific and medical fields.
While Europeans only introduced organized “schooling” in the 7th Century - the Jewish brains were hewed fine by ongoing compulsory studies and the struggles to survive the ongoing fear and hatred of the inhabitants of the countries in which they sought refuge.
With “Emancipation” in France & Germany and with later immigration to America and Canada the Jews mental prowess proved of exceptional value to all the countries who approved Jewish emancipation.

Elementary school learning was regarded as compulsory by Simeon ben Shetah as early as 75 BCE and Joshua ben Gamla in 64 CE. The education of older boys and men in a beit midrash goes back to the Second Temple period. The importance of education is stressed in the Talmud, which states that children should begin school at six. The rabbis stated that they should not be beaten with a stick or cane, that older students should help those who were younger, and that children should not be kept from their lessons by other duties. According to Judah ben Tema, “At five years the age is reached for studying the Bible, at ten for studying the Mishnah, at thirteen for fulfilling the mitzvoth, at fifteen for studying the Talmud.” (Avot 5:21). In keeping with this tradition, Jews established their own schools or hired private tutors for their children until the end of the 18th century. Schools were housed in annexes or separate buildings close to the synagogue.[3]

Deuteronomy contains several references to the duty to provide education: “Remember the days of old, consider the years of ages past; ask your father, he will inform you, your elders, they will tell you.” (Deut 32:7). The Book of Proverbs also contains many verses related to education: “My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your mind retain my commandments; For they will bestow on you length of days, years of life and well-being.“ (Prov 3:1-2).[2]

Rabbi Meir Simcha of Dvinsk (in his Meshech Chochma) observes that God's statement "[Abraham is blessed because] he will instruct his children and his house after him to follow in God's ways to perform righteousness and justice" (Genesis 18:19) is an implicit mitzvah to teach Judaism.

They deny that Jews remind them of a higher purpose of life and the need to be honourable, and do anything to escape its consequences.. It is simply too much to handle for them, too embarrassing to admit, and above all, too difficult to live by.

So the nations of the world decided once again to go out of 'their' way in order to find a stick to hit the Jews. The goal: to prove that Jews are as immoral and guilty of massacre and genocide as some of they themselves are.

All this in order to hide and justify their own failure to even protest when six million Jews were brought to the slaughterhouses of Auschwitz and Dachau; so as to wipe out the moral conscience of which the Jews remind them, and they found a stick.

Nothing could be more gratifying for them than to find the Jews in a struggle with another people (who are completely terrorized by their own leaders) against whom the Jews, against their best wishes, have to defend themselves in order to survive. With great satisfaction, the world allows and initiates the rewriting of history so as to fuel the rage of yet another people against the Jews. This in spite of the fact that the nations understand very well that peace between the parties could have come a long time ago, if only the Jews would have had a fair chance. Instead, they happily jumped on the wagon of hate so as to justify their jealousy of the Jews and their incompetence to deal with their own moral issues.

When Jews look at the bizarre play taking place in  The Hague , they can only smile as this artificial game once more proves how the world paradoxically admits the Jews' uniqueness. It is in their need to undermine the Jews that they actually raise them.
